I like the no poo method and still use it - but I do not use it exclusively like I had originally hoped I could. I have been told that the vinegar rinse is the answer..but I do not care for it. My hair is very long and (especailly in the summer when it is hot), I can still smell the scent of vinegar in my hair...that does not appeal to me. I have asked others if they notie the scent and they ALL say they do NOT...so it might be "me" or my water, or my nose. :-) Not sure....so when I do it, I do it without the vinegar rinse for that reason. It is a GREAT alternative for me to stretch my use of shampoo. It is also very budget friendly. I would just say that you have to TRY IT for 4- 6 weeks! I know several people who have used this method and it stood the test of time for them - they love it and don't use shampoo any more. Hope this helps.MommySetFreehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09108945088100513996noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7303462433904424263.post-66779165600313687772013-11-15T11:16:29.713-06:002013-11-15T11:16:29.713-06:00Were there any updates to this method. I use it on my dishes when I need to get grease off or a big stain & it's perfect. Tub & tile cleaner, too. Baking soda is really a wonder product.Ravenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15401805576403459388noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7303462433904424263.post-73499033228815524472010-08-16T09:45:58.880-05:002010-08-16T09:45:58.880-05:00I've been no poo for a whole year now. My hair isn't the same texture as yours so I do use a cider vinegar rinse. I look forward to your future reports!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7303462433904424263.post-39720624314718124612010-08-16T07:07:17.973-05:002010-08-16T07:07:17.973-05:00Yeah, welcome aboard! I am doing it too!

To Michelle: I have thick curly hair, and with the apple cider vinegar rinse, I was able to run a brush through my hair just as if I used conditioner, easy peasy.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7303462433904424263.post-48221319371723952372010-08-16T03:17:22.277-05:002010-08-16T03:17:22.277-05:00I'm curious to see if this works for you long ...I'm curious to see if this works for you long term too. I also have fine hair but it's curly so I need to control frizz w/o buildup. I tried to make my own shampoo last year and gave up. Please do give updates! However, all the testamonials had hair woes that me, and they were very happy with the No Poo Method...so I encourage you to give it a try! The hardest point for me is to remember to rinse the baking soda out of my ears! :)

Blessings,
MiaMiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09919570911521194710noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7303462433904424263.post-47020922867043091742010-08-15T13:45:50.943-05:002010-08-15T13:45:50.943-05:00I'll be waiting to see how you feel after the ...I'll be waiting to see how you feel after the couple of weeks! :-)
I've wanted to give it a try, but I have been afraid that my hair would look oily/be smelly, and that with my naturally wavy hair, I would still need conditioners. Without conditioner - using commercial haircare products - it is very hard to brush out my hair. But since your hair is silky and you don't need conditioner, I imagine that I will just have to break down and give this a try for myself. ;-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7303462433904424263.post-11766902072122519712010-08-15T10:23:12.502-05:002010-08-15T10:23:12.502-05:00Hi Pamela,
