Welcome to Home Shalom!

Welcome to Home Shalom and Shalom Farm. We pray your visit here be blessed. We are learning to walk in the Ways (Torah) of our Father YHWH and follow Y'shua, His Messiah until He returns to "set things straight". We call it a "Messi-Life". Our walk is neither tidy nor perfect, but it is filled with passion, devotion and desire to serve our King. We are learning to be humble servants, and to be good stewards of the things that He has entrusted to us: His Word, our marriage, our children, our family, our community, our health, and our farm. Hitch your horse and stay a while--our door is always open!

Teshuva - Worship YHVH

Teshuva - I love love love this song! Teshuva is a Hebrew word that means "to return to" it has a sense of correction and repentance in it. It embodies a contrite heart and willingness to change and be taught. It is such a grace filled, beautiful word, that holds so much meaning for me. It embodies Y'shua's message and what YHVH calls us all to do.

Lyrics:
There came one day a prophet man,
crying in the wilderness
He came to tell the people to return
To tell them to return
Justice, kindness, love and mercy
Was the message he did give
He gave them words of Torah,
That by them they should live

Teshuva
Returning to Torah
Teshuva
Repentance in our hearts
Teshuva
Returning out of love
OH teshuva, teshuva

Y’shua, when He came,
He came to be among His own
Talmudin He called to follow, to follow him alone
He told them that not one stroke would disappear from the law
He is the living Torah standing in the midst of us all

Teshuva
Returning to Torah
Teshuva
Repentance in our hearts
Teshuva
Returning out of love
OH teshuva, teshuva

Since the days of Messiah in the first century
We’ve forgot the root is Israel that supports the olive tree
And now the scroll once so precious
Lays tattered in the street
Come let us mend the pieces together
In love and unity

Teshuva
Returning to Torah
Teshuva
Repentance in our hearts
Teshuva
Returning out of love
OH teshuva, teshuva

Scroll of Wisdom, Scroll of Blessing
Torah scroll of feast and praise
When the love is born from Zion
We’ll all walk in His ways
A minion from the nations will take hold of the fridges of one jew
Saying please take me with you
For we heard God’s with you

Teshuva
Returning to Torah
Teshuva
Repentance in our hearts
Teshuva
Returning out of love
OH teshuva, teshuva

Teshuva, out of love (repeat)
