Welcome to Home Shalom!

Welcome to Home Shalom and Shalom Farm. We pray your visit here be blessed. We are learning to walk in the Ways (Torah) of our Father YHWH and follow Y'shua, His Messiah until He returns to "set things straight". We call it a "Messi-Life". Our walk is neither tidy nor perfect, but it is filled with passion, devotion and desire to serve our King. We are learning to be humble servants, and to be good stewards of the things that He has entrusted to us: His Word, our marriage, our children, our family, our community, our health, and our farm. Hitch your horse and stay a while--our door is always open!

The Woman Behind the Keyboard - YahKheena

What is your (first) name?
My first name is Penny which means weaver, which I have fulfilled to a tee. I am very crafty with my hands and can weave just about anything together however I've not yet learn to actually weave fibers. With that said, I go by the name of YahKheena which means established by Yahweh. That is the desire of my heart to be established by him in his ways. I feel so clumsy with his ways often thinking I'm on his path only to look to my right and find that I missed it, sigh. So, if we do fullfill the destiny of our names, which I believe we do, then it is my hope to fullfill the meaning of the name YahKheena. For that is who I desire to be...yes, one who has been established by Yahweh...YahKheena

Yahkheena and I have become fast friends online and have discovered we are a little more than an hour away from one another; so we have every intention of connecting our families in person as soon as we can. (Our maidens are very much looking forward to that too!)

If you would like to join us by getting involved with TKM (linked here in this email or in the upper right hand side of this blog) you may contact either of us and we'll answer your questions and/or get you set up. There is also a TK Momma's forum for the Maidens' Momma's to communicate and encourage one another in the background. It is in its very beginning stages, but with the help of other contributers, we think it will be a wonderful group!

Thanks for doing an interview for me Yahkheena!

Ahavah,
