We met many wonderful families in KY when we joined others for Passover; on of which was The Mullens. They gave a strong testimony about where they came from (He was a Hippie sailing around the World, searching for "truth" and she was a Christian, who says she had yet to learn what that meant.) It's a beautiful story that only God could unfold! However, I can not do it justice, so I will spare you the watered down version. They got their land legs, when they had two small kids (if I remember it correctly, it became a little tricky to live that life with we ones on deck.).7 kids later (a beautiful family!), with the youngest one a boy of 8 (if I remember correctly) and all with strong hearts for the Lord, they felt HIM calling them into ministry by sailing around and connecting with people as HE appoints. They are very familiar with a "nomadic sea culture" of people who can be found on the waters and in ports around the world. We never new this exsisted as land lovers! :-) (Their story of how God provided them with a sail boat, among other things to make this come to pass is truly Divine, again, I can not do it justice.) They just made their maiden voyage this spring with the whole family and have started a blog to share things. If you would like to follow their adventures their blog is below.

Welcome to Home Shalom!
Welcome to Home Shalom and Shalom Farm. We pray your visit here be blessed. We are learning to walk in the Ways (Torah) of our Father YHWH and follow Y'shua, His Messiah until He returns to "set things straight". We call it a "Messi-Life". Our walk is neither tidy nor perfect, but it is filled with passion, devotion and desire to serve our King. We are learning to be humble servants, and to be good stewards of the things that He has entrusted to us: His Word, our marriage, our children, our family, our community, our health, and our farm. Hitch your horse and stay a while--our door is always open!
