Lost in Translation: Passover VS Pesach
Last year around this time many of the families that meet with us locally for fellowship and shared the Pesach meal together, also shared this study. As most of our "discoveries" from Scripture, things are subject to change and tweaking as we learn more, but I think you will really be blessed with what we discovered here. Because of the length and some of the Hebrew typeset, we've put the files online as PDF's that you can read or easily print:
Part 1 is a study on the Hebrew word PESACH--and how it DOESN'T mean "Passover", and what that implies for our Feast and our lives.

Part 2 dives deeper into the word "Passover" and what it REALLY means.

Part 3 looks closer at the meal itself, both the original meal with Moses and the "Last Supper" with Messiah. Was Yeshua celebrating a "seder" or was His meal something entirely different?

I am hopeful these teachings really stretch you as they did us! Chag Semach! (Have a Joyful Feast!)

Preparing for Pesach (Passover)
I could not resist this little bit of humor! I hope it brings a smile to your face and that we do not forget to laugh at ourselves...even as we prepare for the Feasts!
Sometimes we can get a little Mashugana! (Crazy)

Spring Feasts Calendar Tutorial

This is a very nice overview explanation of the Biblical Spring Feasts. It is direct and organized and to the point. One of the best I have seen. I can not "recommmend" the author's site as we have not explored it fully. However, this calendar is very good so we thought it worth posting. We wish we had something like this when we started! It can take a while to really "get it" and as soon as you think you do...you learn there is so much more to learn! :-)

Citrus Roasted Lamb

2. About an hour or two later after the lamb as been marinating in the juices and soaked some up. Mix together the following herbs and rub the lamb down with them. Leaving a generous amount of seasoning all over the lamb.
2 parts Dr. Mint, Dr. Basil, and *Citrus Seasoning Mix (any brand)
1 part Sea salt
1/2 part pepper
3. Put several 1" slits all over the top of the lamb and insert a clove of garlic into eash slit (about 8 + depending on wether you are doing a roast or whl lamb - the size of your cut)
4. If you can cover and let sit for a couple more hours that's even better, if not you may roast right away.
