Welcome to Home Shalom!

Welcome to Home Shalom and Shalom Farm. We pray your visit here be blessed. We are learning to walk in the Ways (Torah) of our Father YHWH and follow Y'shua, His Messiah until He returns to "set things straight". We call it a "Messi-Life". Our walk is neither tidy nor perfect, but it is filled with passion, devotion and desire to serve our King. We are learning to be humble servants, and to be good stewards of the things that He has entrusted to us: His Word, our marriage, our children, our family, our community, our health, and our farm. Hitch your horse and stay a while--our door is always open!

Torah School

I have recently joined the team over at Torah School to contribute to the blog there. I am very excited and blessed by the opportunity. I must admit that WordPress is...well SCARY to me. I am a fish out of water and it takes me "FOREVER" to do the slightest things...so my posts are very very slow and sparce to date...but Ben just figured out how to use our (yet undeveloped website) to post pdf's so we have made a slight break through today. This week we are sharing our Family Torah Reading Plan that we developed for our older children as a part of our homeshul. It is simple..but is working wonderfully for us so we thought it worth sharing. (Some times its the simple things that are the most wonderful - don't you think?)

I just thought I would make the mention, in case you wanted to put it on your list of places to visit. It is a fairly new project...but it will grow as we do!
